10 Values

When people with a shared vision for a better world share space, we create cycles of innovation. These values guide how we run the hub, welcome members, and collaborate in the Cowichan Valley.

   We seek to support a diverse range of people in organizing, entrepreneurship, activism, skill-sharing, and much more.

   Indigenous sovereignty

   We acknowledge that we are located on unceded Indigenous land belonging to the Cowichan Tribes people. We engage in a process of decolonization to create unity among all people on this land and to respect traditional ways.

   We value self-determination and hearing all voices.

   Skills-sharing

   We are committed to reschooling, intergenerational sharing, mutual feedback, and empowering community leadership.
