About Collective Space

Coworking, wellness, workshops, and community building in the Cowichan Valley.

Collective Space Cowichan is a coworking and social innovation hub in downtown Duncan on unceded Cowichan Tribes territory. We bring together people working on art, wellness, enterprise, activism, and community projects — with desks, private offices, and event rooms when you need them.

We believe in the peacemaking movement — deeper connection and community. Collective Space creates impact advocacy by supporting local campaigns, building cohesion, and connecting members to people and resources that empower change.

We believe in the peacemaking movement: deeper connection, shared resources, and practical support for people building a better valley.

Collective Space is a network of spaces, projects, and people. When we put folks with a shared vision in the same room, we create cycles of innovation — inspired work, real community, and collaboration that multiplies what any one person could do alone.

Our HQ at 166 Station Street is designed and stewarded with permaculture principles in mind: stacked use, care for place, and spaces that function as living community centres for local-to-global change.

Our members come from across the Cowichan Valley and south-central Vancouver Island — Duncan, North Cowichan, Maple Bay, Cowichan Bay, Shawnigan Lake, Mill Bay, Cobble Hill, Chemainus, Crofton, Lake Cowichan, and Ladysmith. If you are nearby and need a desk, an office, or an event room, you are in our neighbourhood.
